I have known John since early 2019 when I was very fortunate to have him as a mentor as part of the Monash Scholars Mentoring Program.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with John as he taught me valuable lessons that helped me grow both professionally and personally. John has been a very understanding, patient, respectful and knowledgeable mentor. In the span of 4 months, I have learnt more than I could have asked for. Some of the learnings relate to: report writing and structuring, emotional intelligence, communication and presentation skills, and networking; all of which have helped me feel more comfortable transitioning to more professional environments.

Having John as a mentor has been a highlight in my final year at Monash and I look forward to the opportunity of working with him again in the future.
